The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 12 examinations at 12 noon.

The CBSE had postponed exams in the area till February 29. However, the exams were conducted as per original schedule from March 2 onwards as the board officials opined that any further delay in conducting exams will affect the students prospects in undergraduate admissions.
The results were declared for Delhi and Allahabad regions covering seven states, and Class X results were declared for Ajmer and Chennai regions.\n\n\n\n
"Considering request of Delhi government and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents, the board has decided to postpone the exam for Class 12 in northeast part of Delhi," CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said.
Like previous years, girls outdid the boys, faring better with a pass percentage of 83.51 compared to 75.12 of the boys.
There are a total of 86 centres in northeast Delhi. While Class 10 students had English exam, Class 12 students had optional exams, including Web Application and Media.
'I am against this system of examination,' the Union human resources minister told Rajya Sabha.
This year 88 per cent gals cleared the exam against 78 per cent boys.
Over 350,000 students from 27 states and Union territories took the exams.
The CBSE has mounted 32 sample papers of Class XII and of 28 other examinations on its website and students can download them free.
Students can take examinations on demand after the board is abolished.
The girls scored 80.33 as pass percentage while the boys 68.22.
